Cant talk for long cause I need to get to sleep. Today has been a full day of cleaning and preparation although strangely enough I still found time for a very sleepy game of Taiko, sans new sticks but I figure I have more pressing matters at hand. One being my first actual school day tomorrow! I have no idea what to expect, im just going to throw myself in headlong and see how it goes. Hopefully well, but I still need everyone's mental powers to send me confidence and gusto so that I can get through the day. Im taking my guitar with me so if all else fails we can sing some songs. No, I actually have things planned but its just a little stressful not knowing exactly what Its going to be like. I hope it's awesome.
Im reading back my Clerks 2 rant and maybe I was a little too harsh on it. Throughout the day, my mind kept wandering back to some of the Randal dialogue and how great it was. He really is the star of the film and I think based on those jokes alone, the film is elevated to a level which I didnt give it credit for. Sure the film is sullied by sentimental pap, but the jokes provide just adequate enough a counterbalance to stop it from going under. Only just enough mindyou. I say this because I think I could actually watch it again and enjoy it. Which is more than I can say for some recently "actually" bad films like Pirates of the Carribbean 2. I keep seeing adverts for Snakes on a Plane. Could someone tell me if this is meant to be a joke, because it seems to be being marketed here in Taiwan as a serious action movie and it cant possibly be can it? The trailer I saw had Samuel L. Attacking these tiny snakes with a shotgun, it looks and sounds like it could be great if its meant to be a joke, if not, it might be great too, im not sure, im intrigued.
In other unrelated news, Andy Lau reered his cheesy corperate face again and you know where.. On every single urinal in my classroom bathroom. Do the children I teach really want to see several times a day whilst they are trying to take a whizz? Honestly, what did he physically contribute to the creation of those urinals? By the looks of it, just a signature, it not like he has time to do anything substatial like design the things because he is too busy advertising every other product made in this country. Believe me, I will get to the bottom of it, and this time, its personal.

snakes on a plane is a bit of a piss take, but done in a straight faced sort of way so stupid people (and the non-english speaking world) will probably think its a real movie. im looking forward to clerks 2 as a few people have said now that its not a great film but is a comedy goldmine if given a chance. Good luck with your class man.
Hey man, I was happy to catch up with your gossip once I got back to Sheffield. I really felt a sense of balance once i'd read the MMI updates I'd missed over the weekend.
Our hopes are with you for first class dude. I'm sure it will all go well. Good luck man.
I'm off to update Arcadefinger with my weekend news.
Good luck Aaron! Hope the kids aren't too harsh on you today - I'm sure that they'll be so intrigued to see someone western that they'll be mesmerised all day anyway! Seriously though - hope it goes well for you man, I'm looking forward to reading about it.
