21.07.2006 or "Trapped"

Today I was determined to get to work on my first months curriculum. I managed to pull together a considerably large amount of ideas, some of which I will probably use, but all in all I was just looking forward to lunch. Last night I had discovered this really cool American diner around the corner and I was going to head off to get myself some kind of Burrito for lunch when I realised I had left the keys in my girlfriend's bag and had no way of letting myself in or out. So once again, I ate ramen for lunch and continued to work on the net. I consumed my weight in Blendy and broke up chunks of research with Anime.

Bleach 89 followed by Nana 14. After the filler and fluff respectively, I was left with a rather shallow oppion of Anime in general. I have recently taken on two new Anime although I have no time to do such a thing. The first is called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which has a really interesting animation style, in that they actually animate instead of just moving the mouths of the characters, and Witchblade which seems like mindlessly entertaining nonscence based on the American comic. Its wierd, the opening credits sight it as a Top Cow production allthough its an entirely Japanese cartoon. What exactly Top Cow has to do with it im not sure (I probably should reseach these things myself) but it seems to be watchable. I know I make fun of Nana but this weeks was better than most, it was kind of quiet and introverted with a eye for weird camera angles and effects, which always make things look more interesting than they actually are.

Back in the real world, Today brought some important news, the young man responsible for Arcadefinger celebrates his 23rd Birthday today so you should all swing by and leave him a Birthday message. And even better, buy him a cider, as I regretfully cannot.

Not alot more to say about today, real work and stuff doesnt make for great banter material. I hear you guys in the west are still suffering in the heat. Try and stay cool and dont let the heat get to you, although from what I have been reading you shouldnt put too much trust in those electric fans.

On that note, I shall bid you farewell for today,
