11.07.2006 or "A tale of two hospitals"
Today I awoke from an epic dream which must have been the manifestation of a million things which are running through my head at the moment. It was me and some faceless friends sneaking into a top secret government facility. Once inside, we wandered around the labyrinth type building and managed to pass ourselves off as some of the many people of all ages who appeared to be inputting data into various terminals. These people were all wearing white and they ranged from young kids to middle aged men and women. During my time in this delusion, I somehow became aware that the jig was up and people were surreptitiously talking into walkie talkies and looking at us strangely. Before I knew it, I was confronted by a woman who asked to see my identification, having handed over my passport and such I turned out the woman was a sympathizer to the injustice which was going on within the facility, I forget what this injustice was, but it all got a little 1984 from that point onwards. I just remember waking up from a night without having turned the air conditioner on, a mistake which had cost me the ability to function for about two hours after waking.
Some photos had been dropped off for me down in the lobby which I needed to dispense to the relevant people as the day progressed. Today was more efforts towards getting my work visa, namely a medical examination and another trip to the school. Having tried to explain where I wanted to go, the Taxi took me to the wrong hospital. Having wandered round the wrong hospital for about an hour before I realized it I caught another Taxi to what I thought was the actual hospital. Luckily it was and I went through various X-Rays poking, sight tests, blood pressure, blood tests and a brief chat before I was told I would receive the results a week from today. Luckily for me, the nurse there spoke pretty good English and at no point did I have to take my trousers off so it was relatively stress free in the end. Turns out you have to do one of those every year when you apply for the working visa. Anyway, I dropped off some stuff back at the house and then headed back out to the school. Turns out if you are trying to get a job based on your degree, you are gonna need the actual diploma certificate. The earliest I can get mine is August so let’s hope it gets sorted in time.
The evening took us out to a brand new department store, one bigger than all of the others I have seen before. I’m talking three connected skyscrapers, each holding fourteen floors of shops each and being packed to the rafters with shoppers. Unfortunately the arcade they had there was a bit rubbish so I settled on sitting outside and getting a coffee as all the people were freaking me out a bit. Nothing of major interest happened after that, we got some food, headed home and I played with some new pens I bought out in town, hopefully they will allow me to create some pretty decent line art for some future Photoshop experiments. If off to bed now, today has worn me out a bit, I might take it easy tomorrow and try and avoid any more major quests for a bit.

Impressive day you've had! There was a myth duing my time at school that at some point all the boys had a medical where they check you penis - lucky you didn't have to go through that!
