28.08.2006 or First Day Back, Video Update

Today was a good day. Normality has resumed its course and feel like things are finally under control. Just thirteen more days until I get paid, I’m sure I can wait that long. It will be nice to actually be in a position of financial security for once. There are numerous things which need paying off back in England and the next two pay checks will allow me to settle a sizable chunk of that whilst still having enough to live pretty comfortably. Yep, things are ok and I hope they can stay that way for as long as possible. Its weird the sense of home I got when I returned to Taiwan, although that way maybe reactionary to feeling completely lost in Hong Kong. I spent some time making my room tidy and added some little trinkets and what not to the desk. A strange sense of calm is here now. Like everything is going to ok.

Back home I put together some videos on the computer but nothing which could constitute work since I covered most of it in the later hours of the day. I ate at the American diner, read Empire and peddled home for a much needed shower. What I put together in video form is firstly a brief slideshow of the Hong Kong pics and secondly an experiment in editing based chiefly on the fact that throughout my entire trip I was listening to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas on my I-Pod.
