15.08.2006 or "Best laid plans"

Today was a jaunt and a half. I woke up and said goodbye to my girlfriend as she left for work, about an hour before I do. Her work had put on a surprise for her and I was in the loop, strangely enough since I barely talk to anyone let alone my girlfriends work colleages. Nevertheless, on my lunch break someone came to pick me up and they had laid on a massive birthday cake and such and it was very sweet. She had no idea how I got there and I had no idea how to get back to work but one long confused taxi journey later I was back in class before the kids had woken up. Coming home I did a little prep work and she slept. About an hour later we headed out to a local Japanese restaurant called sasano. It was packed with drunken japanese businessmen but the food was really good. We drunk some beer and then felt a little drunk so we came home. That brings us up to speed,
